• VASVIK Industrial Research Award for Chemical Science & Technology for the year 2019.
• Life time Achievement award by Catalysis Society of India, Bangalore Chapter for contributions in Catalysis and Adsorption in Feb 2020
• MoPNG Innovation Award 2017-18 for ‘Best Innovation in R&D Institute’ for “HPCORRMIT – A novel cost-effective corrosion inhibitor for LPG pipelines”.
• Innovation Award 2016-17for ‘Best Indigenously Developed Technology’ for“Development and Commercialization of Pressure Swing Adsorption Technology for Hydrogen Purification (H2 PSA)”by MoPNG.
• PetroFed Innovator of the Year –Team Awarded to the team led by me for the year 2015 for the innovation, “Development and utilization of Catalyst and Catalytic Visbreaking Process” suitable for enhancing distillate yield.
• MoPNG Innovation Award for “Best Innovation in R&D” for the year 2014-15 for “HP HiGAS Technology for Process Intensification of Distillation / Absorption process”.
• Oceantex 2008 ‘Outstanding Achievement Award for Innovation’ for the development & commercialization of in-house developed BMCG product presented at the International Conference on Oil & Gas held at Mumbai on 14-17^th Feb’08.
• Golden Star Award for (a) “HPCoSol for lube oil upgradation” and Catlyst Visbreaking process” under Best R&D project category and (b) for “Development of online furnace heater cleaning chemical (HP FurnOKare) for Best Project – Team for 2016.
• Elected Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineers (FNAE) (2014), a prestigeous Professional body of Engineers.
• Brain Pool Visiting Scientist of Korean Govt. at Korea Institute of Energy Research during April 1997 – Sept 1997.
• Member of Academic Advisory Committee, Indian Institute of Petroleum Energy, Vishakhapatnam from 2016-2021.
• Member Project Appraisal Committee (PAC), Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST, Govt. of India for Chemical and Environmental Engineering from 2015-2024.
